Early game tutorial quest, PVP zone changes, map changes! Skillfite Version 3.0.2:
Gameplay Changes:
- Added two new early game skeleton NPCs used for the tutorial quest.
- Crafting will now require a crafting table to be able to craft. They will be marked on the minimap.
- Added very slight knockback to most weapons for visual impact.
- Added chance for big knockback to the bow, crossbow, and greatsword.
- Added rocks to the entrance of the direwolf arena to prevent cheesing.
- Nerfed the ice crossbow and the T7 crossbow
- Buffed pelt drop rates across the board
UI Changes:
- Moved the skills UI into the central menu, and added UI to show you what items unlock at which level.
- Improved player stats and visual representation.
PvP zone changes:
- Increased the XP given in the PVP zone to 1.5x
- Direwolf has been placed back into the High Risk PVP zone
- Doubled drop rolls in the PVP zone
- Increased NPC density in the PVP zone
- More resource dropping NPCs in the PVP zone (Moose, Crocs, Trolls, etc…)
Tutorial Quest:
- Added a multi step tutorial quest to better introduce the game mechanics to new players.
- Tutorializes mining, fishing, fighting, and gives rewards throughout the process.
Tasks:
- Quest givers will now animate and have overhead UI such as “!” and “?” based on your task status.
- Tasks will no longer give slay progress to the player that got the last hit. It will go to the player that did the most damage.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a few incorrect item names causing unknown items to drop.
